DENVER – October 6, 2006 –Altitude Edge Consultants has been selected to present four workshops at the 2006 Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly’s (PACE) Annual Conference to be held in Baltimore on Oct. 15 through Oct. 18. The PACE model is centered on the belief that it is better for the well-being of seniors with chronic care needs and their families to be served in the community when possible. Altitude Edge Consultants is honored to present the following workshops:

  • “PACE Basics” will be presented by Ronda Schumacher and David Reyes, Altitude Edge partners. They will discuss several areas of PACE, including federal and state issues, contracting, the PACE Service Delivery Model, how to staff and train to operate a program and PACE Business Plans – Reaching the Decision.
  • “Keeping Your Eye on the Dashboard” will be delivered by Schumacher, Reyes, and Richard Schamp, M.D., a consultant to Altitude Edge. They will discuss key indicators essential to success for PACE programs.
  • “In PACE … Census is King” will be presented by Schumacher and Reyes. They will discuss why census is a key for PACE and offer tips for growing enrollment.
