DENVER, Colo. – May 8, 2009 – PACE Vermont has secured the services of Altitude Edge Consultants, a health care consulting firm, for a comprehensive audit. PACE (Program of All- Inclusive Care for the Elderly) programs are Medicare and Medicaid-certified services that involve a team approach to caring for a senior living at home in the community.
PACE Vermont is a nonprofit healthcare organization that provides direct medical care, home care, medications, transportation and other supportive services to seniors in service areas within Bennington, Rutland, Chittenden and Grand Isle counties. Because it provides an integrated network of medical and social services for the elderly, PACE is cost-effective for funding sources and good for the well being of its participants.
Specifically, Altitude Edge Consultants will complete operational, governance and market audits for PACE Vermont. Altitude Edge Consultants will make recommendations based on audit findings to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of PACE Vermont.
