DENVER, Colo. – Feb. 9, 2009 – Altitude Edge Consultants, a health care consulting firm, has been selected by WRC Senior Services to explore the feasibility of the development of a PACE program in Brookville, Penn. PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) programs are Medicare and Medicaid-certified services that involve a team approach to caring for a senior in the community.

As a PACE provider, WRC Senior Services would provide an integrated network of preventive and supportive care for seniors so they can remain healthy and in the least restrictive environment. PACE is cost-effective for funding sources and good for the well being of the elderly participant.

Specifically, Altitude Edge Consultants will complete a study of feasibility for a PACE program, and develop a business plan.

Founded shortly after the Civil War to provide compassionate care to veterans, widows and orphans, WRC Senior Services is now an integrated family of services offering skilled and rehabilitative care, residential and assisted living, and home and community-based services.
