DENVER—Altitude Edge Consultants has been selected to present four workshops at the 2007 Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly’s (PACE) Annual Conference in Albuquerque, N.M., on Oct. 7 through Oct. 10. The PACE conference is attended by health providers who are developing or operating PACE programs nationwide.
The PACE model is centered on the belief that it is better for the well-being of seniors with chronic care needs, as well as their families, to be served in the community when possible. PACE serves individuals aged 55 or older who are certified by their state to need nursing home care, able to live safely in the community at the time of enrollment and live in a PACE service area.
Altitude Edge Consultants is honored to present the following workshops:
• “PACE Basics: An Overview – PACE Service Delivery Model” Ronda Schumacher, Altitude Edge partner, will provide an overview of the PACE service delivery model for new employees of PACE organizations and project team members with organizations interested in their potential to develop a PACE program.
• “PACE Basics: Start Up Planning – Staffing and Training” Schumacher will discuss how to hire and train a successful staff for a PACE program.
• “PACE Basics: Start Up Planning – Management” David Reyes, Altitude Edge Partner, will discuss how to gauge management indicators in a PACE program.
• “PACE Basics: Is PACE Right for your Organization? – Enrollment” Reyes will discuss a business planning approach to enrolling participants in a PACE program.
