DENVER, Colo. – Oct. 3, 2008 – Catholic Charities of New Orleans has hired Altitude Edge Consultants, a health care consulting firm, to conduct an operational review of its PACE of Greater New Orleans program. PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) programs are Medicare and Medicaid-certified services that involve a team approach to caring for a senior living at home in the community.
PACE of Greater New Orleans provides an integrated network of preventive and supportive care for seniors so they can remain healthy and in the least restrictive environment. Services available through PACE of Greater New Orleans include medical supervision, exercise therapy, transportation, meals, companionship and many others. As part of the operational review, Altitude Edge Consultants will analyze PACE of Greater New Orleans’ current delivery of services and make recommendations to maximize the efficiency of the program.
Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans was incorporated in 1938. Catholic Charities is a nonprofit organization that serves the Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, Washington and St. Tammany parishes. The organization administers 48 programs for vulnerable populations within these parishes.
