PACE Services

After operating under the demonstration authority of Congress for more than 10 years, PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) was awarded permanent provider status under Medicare and Medicaid through passage of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997. An extensive PACE application process was developed in 1999.

PACE are service-rich programs that offer local community health providers and seniors a promising model for the future. PACE involves a team approach to caring for a senior in the community, so that they can live in the best and least restrictive environment. The PACE provider ensures seniors get the preventive and supportive care they need to remain healthy. PACE is cost-effective for funding sources and good for the well being of the elderly participant.

While rewarding, PACE is complex. Altitude Edge Consultants has an extensive history with developing and operating PACE programs. We can help introduce a new PACE program or work with you to maximize an existing PACE program.
